Global Virtual Exchange Classes (G-VEC)
G-VEC is a new initiative at UIC. Sometimes referred to as international virtual exchange or COIL (Collaborative Online International Learning), G-VEC is our approach that embeds a virtual collaborative learning activity, project, or module in a course. G-VEC connects students and faculty with their counterparts at other institutions abroad. These collaborations can be offered either as a stand-alone element or in conjunction with traditional student mobility. We are inviting our partners to consider participating by joining our “International Flames Network” through which we will match faculty members seeking G-VEC collaborating faculty. If you think your teaching faculty might be interested, please let us know through the interest form located here(https://uic.ca1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_3Xlecw2XwYp2j0W).
