The Graduate Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences (GIPS) offers graduate courses which lead to the degrees of Master of Science and Doctor of Philosophy. Instruction emphasizes research and is given by means of lectures, recitations and seminars combined with appropriate work in the laboratories. The GIPS is organized into five groups: Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Analysis, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Clinical Pharmacy and Applied Chemistry.
